Thank you for taking the time to view our Glaske Lab spaces. As you virtually explore some of our engineering and engineering technology lab spaces, you will have a taste of the hands-on work that students build in this space and what makes a lab experience unique at the Christian Polytechnic University.
Robotics Lab 360 Walkthrough
Samuel Veague takes us on a tour of the Robotics Lab. Click around the video to follow along!
Lab Equipment
The Robotics Lab is equipped with one R18 delta robotic arm, two R12 articulated robotic arms with six degrees of freedom, and two UR3 collaborative robots. Additionally, the lab provides the compressed air needed to operate pneumatic end effectors.
Projects
Students taking Robotics gain experience in programming industrial robots by working individually or in teams of two with the robots of the lab. The lab exercises involve small projects that teach the elements of robot programming, precise positioning, and programming with sensor feedback.
Information & Learning
In this lab, students learn the elements of industrial robot programming, including topics such as execution flow control, singularity handling, and interrupts.
