Bio
I am blessed to be the wife to my husband, Adam, and the mother of two beautiful children, Ethan and Evalyn. To me, the vocation of nursing is not only based in science, but also in art. Teaching students the art and the science of nursing is my passion and calling while also teaching them how to appropriately and faithfully care for patients.
I have a variety of teaching and administrative experience, having taught ADN and BSN levels of nursing for over seven years and served as Dean of Academic Affairs in the BSN program at Chamberlain University. At LeTourneau, I am an Associate Professor in Pathopharmacology, Medical Surgical Nursing, and Complex Concepts of Nursing. I have experience in the field as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU) on the cardiac floor.
The vocation of nursing is not only based in science but is also an art. Teaching students that art and the science of nursing to appropriately and faithfully care for patients is my passion and calling. The scripture Romans 15:1 speaks to this passion.
