What is your favorite thing about LeTourneau?

My favorite thing about LeTourneau has to be the close-knit community and the relationships that have formed because of it. I have made so many friends over the course of my education here, not only with students, but with faculty and staff as well. I am very grateful to have made these meaningful connections during my time as a student and to now be a LETU staff with these great people that I have gotten to know over the years.

College searching advice for high school students?

Find a community that you believe you can thrive in. College is a time of growth and learning, not only in terms of your education, but also for yourself. Being surrounded by good community will become a cornerstone in your growth into "adulting".

Favorite quote or Bible verse?

My favorite quote is from a book called Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson, "If I must fall, I will rise each time a better man."

Favorite local business?

Has to be Silver Grizzly Espresso, hands down. Silver Grizzly provides not only a great social/study space but also provides the best coffee in all of Longview. If you are a coffee snob, like me, Silver Grizzly will find its way into your favorites very fast.

Fun fact about you?

Kayaking is my all-time favorite outdoor activity. I love being on any river, but my favorite is the Buffalo River in Arkansas.
