Kris serves as the Assistant Vice President for University Development at LeTourneau University. She received her undergraduate degree in English and her master's degree in Business Administration both from LeTourneau University. She has been a certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) since 2013.
Kris joined LeTourneau University in the spring of 2022. In her role she focuses on major and principal gifts. Her career has focused in these areas and she has served in other higher education settings including the LSU Foundation in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee. She brings more than 15 years of fundraising experience.
Kris cares deeply about being a resource to donors as they achieve their philanthropic goals and enjoys connecting donor passions to university priorities.
Kris has been connected with LETU since 1987. She's been the child of a staff member (1987-1993, Dave Erickson), undergraduate student (2004-2006), Yellow Jacket Activity Counsel President (2006,) PR intern (2006), development office team member (2006-2010), graduate student (2007-2009), and adjunct faculty member (2010-2017).
Kris and her husband met through Leadership Longview and have been married since 2009. They have two children and live in Baton Rouge, LA. They have served as weekend team leaders at Healing Place Church since 2018.
