Clarissa serves as the Assistant to the Director of Alumni Engagement at LeTourneau University. She received her undergraduate degree in Merchandise Marketing with a minor in Hospitality Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2019. She has since pursued a career within the hospitality and event planning fields. Clarissa is a Walt Disney Company-trained professional excited to use her talents to grow the Kingdom of God instead of the Magic Kingdom.
Clarissa joined LeTourneau University in the fall of 2022. In her role, she focuses on development marketing and major events such as Hootenanny and Homecoming while assisting our director and the alumni of LeTourneau. She brings more than 10 years of hospitality and event planning experience.
Clarissa is intentional in trying to be the best resource to alumni and current students as they achieve their goals both here at LeTourneau and beyond campus grounds.
Clarissa is an East Texas native, having grown up hearing about LeTourneau. When asking the Lord for financial provision during a time of transition in her life, God answered with the call to be in ministry and community here at LeTourneau University. She aspires to obtain her MBA from LeTourneau and join the LETU alumni family.
Clarissa and her husband married in October of 2022 and have made their home here in the greater Longview area. Her husband serves as a sheriff's deputy for Panola County, and they are active members of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
