Adjunct Faculty - Communication

LeTourneau University invites applications for adjunct faculty members qualified to teach Intro to Speech Communication for the 2023/24 academic year. Classes are in a face-to-face setting on the LeTourneau University campus located in Longview, Texas. Fall semester class sections are scheduled for Tuesday/Thursday mornings.

LeTourneau University seeks an innovative, dynamic, student-focused instructor to join a new and growing program in Communication Studies.  In addition to a record of successful teaching in freshman-level Speech courses, applicants should have an area of expertise, which will contribute to expansion of the program.  

The ability to teach – and model – public speaking skills. The academic requirement is a Master’s Degree in Communication or related field and eighteen graduate hours in Communication. Teaching experience is preferred.
