SCHEDULE: Primarily weekdays, 8:00am-5:00pm. Flexible schedule including nights and occasional weekends required. Some travel may be required.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As directed by the Assistant Vice President for Admissions, the Admissions Support Specialist is responsible for supporting all operations within the admissions office at LeTourneau University.

  • Provide support to the Enrollment, Marketing, and Communications team in the area of dual credit, undergraduate, and graduate admissions both online and on-ground.
  • Ensure admissions operations comply with established policies and procedures according to the university catalog regarding admissions and dual credit.
  • Communicate effectively with admissions staff pertaining to student records and required documentation for student progression through the admissions funnel.
  • Coordinate and review documents to ensure accuracy and completeness of enrollment paperwork.
  • Assure proper transferring and purging of student files as needed.
  • Manage the input of enrollment data into the university’s customer relationship management
  • (CRM) system.
  • Establish and maintain automated records and files to assure accuracy of input and output data.
  • Review and upload high school transcripts for dual credit students.
  • Regularly update dual credit student and partner spreadsheets throughout registration processes in the fall, spring, and summer.
  • Assist with application and registration processes for dual credit students.
  • Ensure timely response to general dual credit inquiries and registration questions.
  • Regularly update and verify accuracy of dual credit student information in all university systems.
  • Input and process data from various application methods: university website, ApplyTexas, the CommonApp.
  • Communicate with students who apply through ApplyTexas and the CommonApp to confirm interest in enrolling at LeTourneau. Notify admissions counselors of warm leads for follow up.
  • Work closely with other offices – Registrar, Student Accounts, Financial Aid – when it comes to student records and enrollment processes.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Vice President for Admissions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Be a Christian and agree to the University's statement of faith.
  • Must possess strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook. Basic knowledge and understanding of OneDrive, SharePoint. Experience in Salesforce and Ellucian/Colleague is a bonus.
  • Professional phone skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • The ability to build partnerships across campus that result in "buy in" of enrollment initiatives.
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
