Biography:

Bud is a principal of Alpha Petroleum Services, an oilfield development company based in Houston, Texas, that he formed in 2002 following an extensive career in petroleum drilling operations. He began his career as a production engineer with Conoco Oil Corporation in 1966 and continued on to serve in executive leadership positions in several companies, working all over the world. Through his experience in drilling operations, he has developed broad skills in business consulting and analysis and has demonstrated his ability to manage at all levels. A native of West Texas, Bud earned his degree in industrial engineering from LeTourneau College in 1966. He and his wife, Brenda, are active in their church where he is a devoted Sunday school teacher.

Commitment to LETU:

Bud is vice chair of the board of trustees. Since 1999, he has served on the Advisory Council of the School of Engineering and Engineering Technology at LETU and has provided leadership to a variety of university trustee committee assignments.
