Biography:

Wayne Steege has served on the LETU board of trustees since 2015. He is an engineer and program manager for the defense company Alliant Techsystems where he applies his skills in business process and strategy development, cost-benefit analysis, and program planning. He earned his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from LETU in 1983, and previously served on LETU's Alumni Council. Other leadership experience includes serving as a trustee, deacon, elder, and Sunday school leader at his church. He and his wife, Melissa, whom he met at LETU, are the parents of three children, one of whom currently attends LETU.
