STUDENT ACTIVITIES

The YellowJacket Activities Counsel (YAC) coordinates events just about every week on campus - typically on Friday evenings at 7:18. Below is a list of a few of our recent favorite events.

WORKING WITH STUDENT ACTIVITIES

Interested in working with Student Activities? We hire several Coordinators through the IMPACT Selection process. But we also love our volunteers who just want to help out from time to time.

CLUBS ON CAMPUS

Student Organizations change from year to year. If there is something that you're interested in, we would love to help you start a club. Here is a sampling of some of our more recent organizations:

Most departments host chapters of national and international academic societies, including:

American Society of Civil Engineers
Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers
American Society of Mechanical Engineers
American Welding Society
International Honor Society for Business, Management and Administration

If you want a break from academics, we also host a variety of student clubs, such as:

Habitat for Humanity
Rugby Club
Pro-Life LeTourneau
Stage Right (Theater Club)
Robotics Club
Student Veterans Association

More student organizations are created each year, meaning you'll have dozens of opportunities to participate! You could even join one of LeTourneau's societies:

HOW TO START OR RENEW A CLUB

All the information you need is included here in the Registration Packet. In summary, all you have to do is:

Get a sponsor
Write a constitution (New clubs only)
Fill out the club registration form
Attend the Risk Management Meeting held at the beginning of every semester. (Missed the meeting? Come see Hannah Eisen in Student Life)
Have Fun

Note:

All clubs must renew their recognition every year. Constitutions only need to be submitted once. All other documentation is to be resubmitted every academic year.
