Tutors are available for a variety of courses and can assist students with homework concepts, study strategies, and test preparation at no charge. Trained peer tutors are knowledgeable in their content areas and ready to help students.
Use Starfish to make an appointment with a tutor. When making an appointment, you will select within the appointment if you prefer meeting online or in-person. If you search for a tutor and no name appears, please send an email to AchievementCenter@letu.edu to request a tutor.
For your tutoring sessions:
- Please be on time and notify in advance if you cannot attend
- Do as much work as you can before the meeting
- Formulate specific questions you want to discuss
LOCATIONS AND TIMES
To schedule a tutor, visit the Achievement Center on the 2nd floor of the Allen Family Student Center or visit Starfish.
Occasionally, small groups are set up with a single tutor due to a high volume of student need.
BECOMING A TUTOR
Join the Achievement Center Staff! Tutors must have successfully completed the courses they will be tutoring with a 3.0 or higher and have an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher. If you are interested in becoming a tutor, contact AchievementCenter@letu.edu
