Personal Bio

My connection to LeTourneau University started in the summer of 1986 as a high school Junior in the Giant Step Program. From 1987 to 1992, I was a student of the college/university, graduating in the spring of 1992. I returned to my Alma Mater in 1999 as a staff member working in the Information Technology department until 2006. Returning to the private sector, I continued to partner with the university as an industry advisor, a member of the President's Advisory Council, and finally as an Adjunct Professor. In the Fall of 2024, by God's grace, I joined the ranks of the faculty as a Lecturer in the Engineering Technology department. I am pursuing my Master's of Science in Engineering at LeTourneau University, with the goal of serving the remainder of my career investing in the academic and spiritual lives of engineering students. I grew up as a Missionary Kid in France. I married a wonderful East Texas young lady in 2001. We have a son, Benjamin, who plans on attending LeTourneau starting in the fall of 2025. I love to study and teach the Bible at church and in the classroom. I enjoy tinkering with electronics and microcontrollers. I have an interest in electronic music and building electronic instruments. I study theoretical and astro physics for fun.
