Background

I love all things LeTourneau University! My life was changed in so many positive ways as a student here that when God called me to teach it was a “no brainer” decision to come back to my alma mater to help mold and train the next generation of engineers. My teaching specialization is engineering graphics and I desire for students to gain confidence in their graphical skill sets making them a more effective engineer. My experience in both the mechanical and civil engineering industries uniquely qualifies me to teach all the various engineering disciplines taught at LETU and I especially enjoy introducing real world problems into the classroom. 

I am a champion of Engineering Technology (ET). The degrees earned at LETU provide a broad range of tools that our employers are seeking. I firmly believe that the ET degree is an excellent pathway for students with a technical mindset to earn a degree and make an immediate impact in the engineering industry. 

My wife, Stephanie, and I enjoy traveling in our RV during the summer months and enjoying adventures with our two children and their spouses, all of which attended LeTourneau. We became grandparents for the first time in 2024 and are blessed to have them live near us. My hobbies include doing anything active outside, such as: mountain biking, camping, hiking, backpacking, river rafting, snow skiing or anything else possible in God’s awesome creation. These activities refresh and recharge me and ultimately bring me closer to my Savior.
