- I was included as co-author of a paper under Dr. Kyun Lee showing how quality vibration lab equipment could be made on a budget, of which I designed and built.
- When students come for help it is my goal to not give students answers but encourage their critical thinking to find the answer.

Background
I met my wife at East Texas Baptist University and have been married for 38 years. We have four married children, 3 grandsons with a fourth grandchild on the way. I am so honored to be married to Laurie. She has encouraged and helped me in all that God has lead us in. I would not be where I am if it were not for God and my wife.
I have been a machinist in oil field equipment, prototype manufacturing equipment to military jet aircraft parts, pastored three full time churches, was Chaplain of a hospital for 6 years, and an armed security guard for 5 years. God has strengthened me in all these endeavors.
