The Role of Sponsored Programs

LeTourneau University's Office of Institutional Research & Sponsored Programs (IRSP) has coordinated more than 100 projects using the resources, facilities and expertise of university faculty, staff and students to solve challenges for industries, businesses, educational institutions and government agencies.

Through mutually beneficial arrangements, the university and its sponsors have completed projects in biomechanical research, design of industrial products and processes, creation of new welding procedures, marketing studies and business plan development.

The IRSP seeks to partner with corporations and clients to give our highly qualified students "hands-on" experience in the fields related to their chosen careers, while providing cost-effective solutions to industry and business.
